Research Presented in an Accessible Way

To someone without a scientific or medical background, research publications are complex documents where the key information are hard to find. These publications can hold inaccessible knowledge that requires translating into plain language.

Our PLSPs increase visibility and transparency of scientific research. Physicians and healthcare professionals tend to be time-restricted and find value in PLSPs as a tool to assist in conversations with patients. Per ICMJE guidelines, PLSPs are considered acceptable secondary publications. PLSPs can be published alongside the original scientific publication or as a standalone, fully citable piece in another peer-reviewed journal. Also, PLSPs can be used on a sponsor’s website, printed for participants, or posted to an online portal.
